The secret to sleep well every night

Good sleep strategies are essential to deep, restorative sleep you can count on, night after night. By learning to avoid common enemies of sleep and trying out a variety of healthy sleep-promoting techniques, you can discover your personal prescription to a good night’s rest.

The key is to experiment. What works for some might not work as well for others. It’s important to find the sleep strategies that work best for you.

The first step to improving the quality of your rest is finding out how much sleep you need. How much sleep is enough? While sleep requirements vary slightly from person to person, most healthy adults need at least 8 hours of sleep each night to function at their best. http://www.helpguide.org/life/sleep_tips.htm

Well, sleeping is the best medicine to maintain the body and mind in a good balance. I usually get about 6-8 hours per night, and don't take any naps during the day but still don't feel tired. Luckily, my classes always start at 1pm to 4 pm, which means that I can get up late. I always go to bed after midnight depending on what I am doing at that time. I use the night in order to relax from a stressful day, so I watch movies, talk to friends or just listen to music. Even though people may think that these habits are not healthy, I can perfectly refresh my mind doing these activities at night. Don't forget, I'm still a student, so I want to enjoy doing all these things, because I know that once I'm working and gotta get up early in the morning, all my habits have to change or I will not be able to work properly. It's not only that people need sleep but sleep is an oasis for my mind and soul. By the way, have a good night and sweet dreams.
This is the first story that I am telling you all. It is my first trip to Germany. oh I have just graduated from the university and decided to book a ticket with Fly Emirates to Germany. luckily my friend, she arranged it for me. thanks!

I left Bangkok to Dubai and spent the time at the airport about 8 hours for the next flight in the morning to Frankfurt. I was walking around the airport, smoking, drinking, talking and of course sleeping on the sofa at the airport as well.

I got up and went to the toilet, brushed my teeth, washed my face and i said myself that: i am so ready to explore the world. Suddenly the staff at Fly Emirates was announcing that, all the passengers, check in at counter E5 please. Whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii.

On the plane, an old fat woman sat next to me but i didn't talk to her much, during i was listening to music, i enjoyed drinking white and red wine in the same time.

Anyway. there were many Germans on the plane and i just would like to talk to them in German cause I have learned it at Goethe institute before. Later i fell asleep. Whiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Frankfurt Flughafen (airport) here I come!!! it was such a nice feeling to be there. the weather was windy and cold but i really liked it. i could smell fresh and clean air.

I walked to the exit and my friend, Anne was waving her hands to me :") ahhh there she is. I hugged her and of course it was such a nice time even though i was a bit exhausted. Later on we took a train and a bus to her home. It took about 1 hour for traveling. After that i arrived to her home well and arranged my stuffs and slept immediately. I was too tired and had no energy left.

Alright, i will continue to write my story again soon. I need to relax a bit.
Guten Tag, Hamburg. Nicky is here!

Hamburg is a very beautiful city. It is close to the harbor and windy all the time. Actually, I didn't stay in Hamburg but I lived in the suburbs of Hamburg, a little town called Buchholz in der Nordheide on Hamburger Strasse. Everyone might think that this street is full of hamburger shops, but there is only one branch of McDonald's and Burger King.

My friend picked me up at the railway station, Hamburg-Harburg from where we took a cab to his home. Later on, we went to Hamburg Innenstadt and traveled the whole day. It is such a beautiful city! I couldn't believe that i was here!

Late in the afternoon, we bought ice cream at Haagen Dazs shop, hmmm it was so delicious and more expensive than I thought. During I was eating ice cream, I still enjoyed my time by looking at the people. Most of them were well dressed with jacket and pullover; even though it was summer the weather was quite cool.

In the evening, I met my friend's family and we had dinner together. Wow a big German meal. Oh my goodness, I still remember everything that has happened pretty well! After dinner, we played a game called, MENSCH ärgere Dich nicht! ( don't be angry). I have never played this game before, but I really loved it so much. We all enjoyed the night and couldn't stop playing this game until early morning. This first day in Hamburg was so impressive to me, so that I will continue writing about my adventures daily.
A few weeks later, I had an appointment with my friend, Kathrin. We wanted to go to Hamburger Dom, which is a seasonal festival in Hamburg. that looks pretty much like Disneyland in America. There were many people there because we went there on a weekend. A few minutes later, I was throwing darts at balloons. Yes, I played it quite well, but my friend was trying to cheat on me. OH MY GOD! how could I lose this game! I couldn't believe it. My friend had won the game and got a big bear doll and I only got a small pig doll. Anyway, I liked our time together.

There were many sausage shops and I got hungry all the time. Hmm, hot sausage with cold beer! If you love to drink good beer, you should visit Germany. There are about 600 different types of beer in this country. I love Alsterwasser vom Fass, Lager beer with lemonade. Hmmmm delicious!

After having sausages and beer, Kathrin invited me to ride roller coaster, but I refused her invitation, because I am afraid of heights; eventually she convinced me. It was such a horrible moment for me. I shouted so loud and didn't care of anyone. Yes, it was so scary and I was going to die. After finishing the ride, I ran to the wastebasket and threw up immediately. Everyone looked at me and laughed. Kathrin gave me a bottle of water which I drank, but gosh, it was soda water! It was hard to even swallow 'cause my throat was so narrow. Oh poor me! It took about half an hour until I felt much better and we then decided to have dinner together at an Italian restaurant. Thanks Kathrin. It was really nice to spend the time with you.
Made the train trip to Hamburg without any fuss and nobody joined me for the journey!

Found my hotel the Auto-Parkhotel easily enough, right by the train station in a
suburb called SAINT PAULI! These germans are smart people.

What can i say about Hamburg? Well, It's like a little suburb Khaosan road in Bangkok but cleaner and nicer. I am right next to the Reeperbahn.

I went out for dinner that night and lots of very friendly Hamburger guys wanted to talk to me. The street was full of them being very friendly to all the men walking past. They talked to me in German and said something like "Welcome to Hamburg, We hope you enjoy your visit" or something similar. That's nice.

I just did the other usual tourist things and went for a walk (between rain showers) to the docks and the markets. What a nice town!

Anyways, have a look at the pics at Railway station, Hamburg Hauptbahnhof.
Cake Batter Milkshake

(100% raw and sugar-free)

1 frozen, large banana, as ripe as possible
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
2-3 tsp melted virgin coconut oil (I used 2)
1/2 to 2/3 cup milk (I used 200g almond) (For an extremely rich, “ice cream”-like shake, try coconut milk. Also, use more or less, depending on desired thickness.)
If, like me, you prefer smoothies in a bowl, reduce milk, or add a pinch of xantham and guar gums, like with the Mint Chocolate Shake
Optional: for a more cake-like flavor, you can either add 1T coconut butter, or macadamia or cashew butter, OR very scant 1/8 tsp butter extract. But I opted to leave these out of the recipe, as macadamia butter is hard to find, and butter extract isn’t exactly raw. Or maybe even use a little melted vegan butter?
Optional: handfuls of sprinkles

Blend everything together in your Vita-Mix or blender. Add some sprinkles, pre-blending, and throw some more on top! (No, the sprinkles aren’t raw. See note, further down in this post.)

Well, That looks really good. It does remind me of cake batter by the way it is served. I don’t remember much about my birthday cakes. I think they were mostly the average store bought cakes with cheap toys on top. My favorite cake is cheesecake. Anyway, I just would like to try and make it someday. It makes me thirsty.
Automatic Passport Check System

Suvarnabhumi Airport has invested more than 76 million baht on an automatic passport inspection system to address the problem of overcrowding at the immigration checkpoints.

Deputy director of the Suvarnabhumi Airport, Wilaiwan Nadwilai, reported that to address the problem of overcrowding and lines at immigration checkpoints, more than 76 million baht have been invested for the installation of an automatic passport inspection system.

Eight machines will be installed at the arrival section and another eight at the departure section. Passengers will be able to check themselves in and out without the need for immigration officials. This will reduce the immigration processing time from 45 seconds per person to 25 seconds. The airport expects the system to go online at the end of the year.

Wilaiwan also said that the airport authority is currently drawing up the terms of reference for the bidding process for the installation of an air conditioning system. She believes that the winning contractor will be able to start the installation later this year. http://www.thailandoutlook.tv/tan/

Oh wow, I'm amazed that a country with some of the lowest salaries in the world is bothered to spend that kind of money on a computer system that probably won't work in the foreseeable future anyway. Of course, I absolutely don't agree with this.
Jay Brannan was born on March 29, 1982 in Texas and is an American singer and songwriter and actor as well. He moved to California to become an actor. Brannan appeared in the 2006 movie, Shortbus which included one of his songs in its soundtrack, Soda Shop and began to build a fan base by performing on youtube.

This is a man who I am thinking of the whole day. It's because of his song. I just hope to see him in a small concert. That would be extremely awesome! After I watched his movie, the Shortbus. I considered that he is good at actor and of course singing as well. I also love when he plays guitar. Well, I would like to recommend you guy to listen to his song, Soda Shop. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqGnmuv8qNg

Thanks and have a good day. Peace!
Back to the north see again. We spent the time until late in the afternoon then we left to the bungalow for taking a shower and got ready for dinner at Greek's restaurant. Oh I was so damn starving!! I ordered something like seafood. It was yummy and awesome. I was wondering about the sunlight that why it was still shining even it was 8.30 PM. compared this with my country, it would get dark outside at this time already. Yup it was summer in Germany!

However, after the dinner, we had to go back to the bungalow again for packing all stuffs back to Buchholz in der Nordheide. hmm I had to say good bye to the north see. I was in the car with friends and we all sang the songs along the way to home. Oh we loved singing a song from R.E.M, losing my religion. We stopped at the gas station and bought something to eat then we arrived to home late at night. I would say that i really loved the north see!
Well, back to my story in Germany again. This time I went to the Northsee to St. Peter-Ording in Schleswig-Holstein. We drove there by car. yeah I was absolutely excited cause it was the first time for me to go to the beach in Germany and I hope I could get the same feeling as the beach in Thailand as well. who knows? let's see then.

Before we arrived to the beach, we had to meet my friend's family at the bungalow and then we had brunch there and needed to prepare for going to the beach in a few minutes later. *burp* I was totally full with sandwiches, snacks and orange juice.

When we arrived to the beach. I felt that it was such a weird beach cause it was a very very wide beach and there was no tree on it. It looked like a bald guy! I suddenly saw many tents and they were so cute and flashy. wow how lovely :")

A few minutes later, after we parked here, we carried our stuffs and landed the tents. It was time to swim and I ran straight into the sea immediately but I had to stop it cause the sea water was so damn cold that was I didn't expect. I had to walk slowly again and finally i was swimming in a cold water sea with my friends, even though the weather was very warm but just only on the beach except the sea water.we swam almost 1 hour. After that we needed to relax with some snacks. hmmm delicious again!
How often do you change your mind?

There are some little things which you might flip-flop on every day. Perhaps you decide you want light dishes for dinner, but when evening rolls around, you’re ordering for a pizza instead. Or you switch your usual instant noodles. Or you change your workout at the gym.

But when it comes to big issues - like your career plans, your beliefs and values, your hopes and aspirations - you probably change your mind rarely, if ever.

Usually, this is a good thing. You’re consistent and reliable, and you’re able to stand up for what you think.

But sometimes, you'll find yourself in a situation where you have to change your mind- and perhaps even go against what you've said to friends, family or colleagues. And there’s not necessarily anything wrong with that. In fact, being willing to change your mind – to be “open minded” - is hugely important in a world which changes fast. Anyway, before you decide to do something, please becalm and think carefully. You'll find the way.
After total humiliation at her thirteenth birthday party, Jenna Rink wants to just hide until she's thirty. Thanks to some wishing dust, Jenna's prayer has been answered. With a knockout body, a dream apartment, a fabulous wardrobe, an athlete boyfriend, a dream job, and superstar friends, this can't be a better life. Unfortunately, Jenna realizes that this is not what she wanted. The only one that she needs is her childhood best friend, Matt, a boy that she thought destroyed her party. But when she finds him, he's a grown up, and not the same person that she knew. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0337563/

So, what do you think about 13 going on 30?

In my opinion, there should be many different answers. There are many cultures, generally tribal, in which 13 year old girls are married and raising children. They are raised from birth on how to provide for their family. They would be considered good mothers, otherwise their cultures or societies wouldn't have been able to survive so long.

Now, I don't really believe that a 13 year old girl would be as good as a 30 year old woman in our society. They are unable to provide for their baby's basic needs and will have a hard time acquiring the skills needed to succeed.

They can give their baby love and support but will not have the life experience necessary to fully support it herself and will not be able to give it all of the advantages it needs.

By the way, I enjoyed this movie and would like to recommend everyone to watch it.
Has anyone here read or seen this movie?

An epic love story centered around an older man who reads aloud to an older, invalid woman whom he regularly visits. From a faded notebook, the old man's words bring to life the story about a couple who is separated by World War II, and is then passionately reunited, seven years later, after they have taken different paths. Though her memory has faded, his words give her the chance to relive her turbulent youth and the unforgettable love they shared.http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1808467146/details

This movie is a sweet depiction of two people from different social classes falling in love. They break up though they are still in love and your heart breaks along with theirs. Then the story becomes about their journey to find someone else they can love or to find each other again. It will make you laugh, cry, and smile. I think this movie is a good watch for almost anyone. I also really like Rachel McAdams. Thank you, Nicholas Sparks for writing such a beautiful story and let people understand about love clearly. If you don't like to read his book, you should watch the movie instead. I rather to read the book because It's emotional.
This was one of my jobs at a primary school as an English teacher! It was so challenging to teach the kids cause they were very naughty and talkative but they were very sincere and of pure thoughts. I worked at the school for almost 1 year.

About the teaching, it was quite hard to persuade them to love English cause they thought that it isn't their mother language. I had to try hard to change their minds with pictionaries, English songs and activities. Yeah, i succeeded and some of them showed interest in these teaching methods and I really appreciated that much because I hadn't much hope in them. I was considering that they liked me cause I was a young teacher and understood them. (so they said!)

During I was teaching in a classroom, they paid attention perfectly and never got me in a very bad mood, just sometimes when they couldn't stop talking talking talking, but that was normal. I never expected that I would be a teacher one day, especially not for English, since my English is not the very best but these kids inspired me and taught me how to be a good teacher to them and what is really necessary for teaching, sometimes it's not all about the knowledge. Apart from that, I didn't want to waste a chance to make a new experience in my life. Well, just wanted to share my experience. Peace!
